Matthew Pryce has been writing, recording, and performing since his teenage years.
First hearing Jimi Hendrix in middle school, guitar was his first love. Since then, he’s added keyboards, bass, mandolin, synthesizers, and a complex array of electronics to the arsenal. With an incredible blend of influences, and a college degree in music theory and performance, he provides a sonic landscape that outshines full bands. His solo live show is heavily influenced by Keller Williams, and he layers loop after loop creating a funky texture that keeps the groove in the stratosphere. From jazz improvisation to bluegrass hoe-downs, Matthew caters to the audience by playing requests and adjusting his performance to hit the right sound for the right moment.
